Two Kinds of Meditation

Meditation according to the Bible

“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates day and night” (Psalm 1:1-2).

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if everyone loved his neighbor? Wouldn’t it be great if everyone did good to each other instead of harm? Wouldn’t it be great if no one stole, lied or cheated other people? Wouldn’t it be great if we lived in a world without locks, keys and combinations to remember? That world is coming for those who care about righteousness and who care about others. Think about it. Meditate on these things and other good things in God’s word. This is meditation according to God’s word (Psalm 1:2-3; Psalm 119:15; Phil. 4:8).

In order to properly understand meditation, we should know its definition. Webster’s Dictionary, 1937 edition, defines the word “meditation” as follows: 1) Act of meditating thought, especially close or continued thought; turning or revolving of a subject in the mind. 2) A private religious or devotional exercise; consideration of some religious or moral truth, in order to promote personal holiness and love of God (Psalm 77:12; 119:15, 23, 27, 48, 78; 143:5; 145:5; Heb. 12:3 AMP).

There is another meditation that is deceiving the world. Those who practice this type of meditation are naïve and gullible. If those who practice this type of meditation only knew the secrets of what they are not being told, they would stop immediately because they would realize they are being tricked and deceived by those who are deceived themselves or else know the truth and aren’t telling it (2 Cor. 4:2; Eph. 4:14).

Worldly meditation

In Revelation 12:3 God’s word says, “And another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his head were seven diadems.” This great red dragon who was thrown down is that serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan (Rev. 12:9).

Satan is called the god with a thousand names who comes in a thousand different forms. One of his forms is that of the red dragon. Very few realize that the great red dragon is worshiped by those who meditate in Eastern or New Age style meditation.

Let us uncover the religious lie in the raising of the kundalini. In the book Kundalini and the Third Eye, authors Earlyne C. Chaney and William L. Messick discuss kundalini (chapter three, page 20). They say arousing and raising kundalini is perfectly natural since kundalini is already a part of your natural being. As long as it remains coiled at the base of the spine, it becomes the down-flowing serpent, “the red dragon” [this is Satan] stimulating the reproductive organs toward the natural sex cycle. The authors go on to say that meditation seems to be the safest, the surest and the shortest pathway to God realization.

The lower chakra at the base of the spine is called the kundalini chakra. Kundalini means coiled snake or serpent. It is also called the sex chakra. You can raise this serpent power by sitting in the lotus position and chanting a mantra. The lotus position is said to help you reach your root chakra and red energy.  The mantra most used is that of O.M. or A.U.M. This is considered the mother of all mantras.  This word should not be repeated. Very few people know the full meaning of that mantra. Very few people know that this word calls their god, Satan, into their presence.

Satan is worshiped in his many different forms or by his many different names through this mantra. By meditation and using the mantra O.M. one can raise this serpent power called the “red dragon” until he or she (the initiate) becomes, according to Kundalini and the Third Eye, p. 21, the Nagas, the true and perfect Serpent. Oxford Language dictionary states the Nagas is a member of a semidivine race, part human, part cobra.  What you are not being told is that you will be totally overcome with Satan’s nature. You will become an adept, a full initiate of Satan.

Webster’s New International Dictionary of the English Language, 1910 edition, page 1173, says, “Jupiter Optimus Maximus, often written Jupiter O.M.; best and greatest.” Jupiter is another name for Satan with his secret initials O.M., which happens to be his mantra. He is the god of secret societies throughout the world, as well as many major religions of the world—which are pagan.  Chanting O.M. is meant to bring you into a trance like state so you can join the universal mind.  And using namaste is saying, “ I bow to the god within you” again, this is not referring to our Lord Jesus Christ.

When the Israelites were taken out of Egypt and brought into the promised land, they were told not to imitate other nations in regard to the way they worshiped their gods (Deut. 12:30).  Those nations had done every abomination imaginable in their form of worship to their gods (Deut. 12:31).

Satan’s religion is referred to as the “Old Religion” and old it is. It started in the Garden of Eden and resulted in the world being destroyed by God in a flood when it polluted the planet with its teachings. They really aren’t new teachings, but very old. Satan is worshiped in sexual orgies and other debaucheries.

This brings up another type of meditation—sexual meditation. For reasons of decency we cannot go into detail.  Suffice it to say that in the past, God Almighty destroyed such mighty nations as Egypt, Greece and Rome, as well as Sodom and Gomorrah, for having orgies and practicing sexual meditation (1 Cor 10:8; 2 Cor. 12:21; 1 Thess. 4:3).

What awaits a person who is raising the kundalini through deadly meditation? Let’s quote from Kundalini and the Third Eye. First, the initiate feels a warm or hot sensation at the bottom of his or her spine. The body becomes cold and corpse-like. Then the person begins to shudder, tremble or rock violently and hears strange sounds. He sees various lights, including an inner light. He may experience ego inflation, rampant sexual desires and a host of other ills.

Yogis stress that the body must be properly attuned for kundalini through practicing yoga, and that a premature or explosive awakening can cause insanity or even death! According to Harper’s Encyclopedia of Mystical Paranormal Experience page 320, symptoms include involuntary jerking, or spasmodic body movements, or postures with pain, unusual breathing patterns, paralysis, tickling, itching, vibrating sensations, inner sounds such as roaring, whistling, or chirping. Read in Isaiah 8:19 about wizards who whisper and mutter. People do not realize that they are becoming fully possessed by the devil. The words whisper and mutter are translated as chirp, twitter, whisper or peep (like a bird) (6850 Strong’s Concordance), and moan, growl, utter or meditate (1897 Strong’s Concordance).

Continuing in Harper’s Encyclopedia of Mystical Paranormal Experience page 320 says, those who practice yoga may suffer from insomnia, unusual or extreme emotions (emotional instability), intensified sex drive, distortions of thought processes, inability to think clearly, out-of-body experiences. The article says these bad symptoms can be alleviated by the introduction of a heavier diet and temporary cessation from meditation (p. 321).

Let’s say it in plain language. These horrible conditions will stop if you put red meat (heavier diet) into your diet and stop meditating and practicing yoga! Being a vegetarian weakens your system and makes it easier for you to be possessed by demons, and this secret is kept from those using Eastern style meditation and yoga (Rom. 14:2). The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning “to yoke,” or “to unite”. The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit, as well as between the individual self and universal consciousness.  Who are you uniting with?  It is certainly not God (Deut. 8:19; Eph. 5:6).  All yoga stems from Eastern religion.  Everything, about the practice of yoga and meditation, invites the wrong god to possess your body, mind and consciousness.

Conclusion

Harper’s Encyclopedia an account of a man called Gopi Krishna (1903-1984) is given on page 321. This man meditated every morning for three hours for seventeen years. On Christmas Day in 1937, he had an explosive roaring kundalini. This man was then plunged into twelve years of misery with the agonies of the mentally afflicted. It goes on to say that scientific research about kundalini remains in the infant stage hampered by its unpredictability. Another difficulty is the similarity of it to mental disturbances or stress.

There you have it. If yoga and meditation were drugs with these negative side effects, it would never be allowed on the market. People do not want you to know the truth and that you will eventually be totally possessed by Satan, the great red dragon, as well as by other demons.

You will receive god-consciousness, but it will be the wrong god, the god of this world, Satan the deceiver. Satan has religiously deceived the whole world into worshiping him and keeping his doctrines (Rev. 12:9).

God’s word says if you live for self and practice the deeds of the flesh, you will die (John 8:24; Rom. 6:2). But if through God’s Spirit you are putting to death the evil deeds of the flesh by not giving in to them, and if you resist Satan daily by doing good for others, you will live forever (Rom. 8:13)! Overcoming evil by doing good for God is easy, pleasant, and fantastically rewarding. It is life-changing and it is how you glorify God on this earth and prove yourself to be a disciple of Jesus Christ (1 John 5:3 AMP; 1 John 2:14; John 15:8).

As you can see, worldly meditation and yoga is not pleasing to God and does not honor Him in any way.  By participating in these things, you are worshipping the god of this world, Satan (Matt. 4:10).  And don’t be fooled by those who are slapping the name Christian on these practices to try and make them acceptable (Col. 2:8; Mark 7:8).  There are clear differences between what God’s Word says on the subject and what the world is promoting:

Godly meditation:

-Fills your mind with Scripture and God’s Word

-Promotes thinking and reflecting on God’s laws and precepts

-Turning or revolving a godly subject in the mind

-Thinking on the truth to promote the love of God and further holiness

-Directs your mind toward God

-Is a personal and individual practice of worship

-Honors God (Josh. 1:7-9 AMP)

Worldly meditation:

-Empties your mind

-Uses a mantra and hand signals that call to Satan

-Uses the seated lotus position to help you connect to your root chakra and red energy

-Rooted in pagan practices and eastern religion

-Directs your mind to self

-Can arouse sexual organs

-Can cause physical and mental illness

-Is a personal and/or group practice that worships the red god, Satan

-Honors the god of this world, Satan (Rev. 12:9)

God has asked us to separate ourselves from the world, not to join in (2 Cor. 6:17; John 15:19; 1 John 2:15 AMP).  So many are participating in meditation and yoga with no true insight to what they are doing, and who they are actually worshipping by doing so (2 Cor. 11:3).  We can clearly see that ignorance is not bliss.  Educate yourself, and don’t be fooled, if you desire to honor God.  You will be glad you did.
