Dear Father who is in heaven,
Thank you for revealing to me Your righteous Will, for teaching me and for disciplining me when I need it, knowing it helps me to be more like You, building godly character, perseverenace and hope (Eph. 1:9; John 6:45; Heb. 12:7; Rom. 5:3-5).
Thank you for forgiving my sins and washing me with the righteous blood of Your Son Jesus Christ. You are making us new creatures in Christ Jesus and are making all things new, giving us your peace and your joy (Gal. 6:15).
Thank you for teaching us obedience to You through suffering like Christ suffered and for perfecting us, as You have promised to do (1 Peter 5:10; 1 Peter 4:1, 12).
Thank you, Jesus, for coming and showing us how to live to please the Father, for teaching me how to serve others for Your glory (Matt. 20:26,28; 1 John 2:6).
Thank you for being our example so we can imitate You in our daily lives and for showing us how easy it is to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect (1 Cor. 11:1; Heb. 5:8-9; Matt. 5:48).
Thank you for answering our prayers, giving us full assurance and faith, that whatever we ask we will receive because we are dearly loved and cherished by the Father and You (1 John 3:22).
We know this is because we live to please You daily serving others who are in need, and by being living examples of Your beautiful Way of life (1 Peter 4:10; Titus 2:7).
Today Lord, I commit myself to Your Ways and Your Will. I come before you and ask for the forgiveness of my sins (Matt. 26:28).
I pray You will give me strength daily, as I continually overcome evil by doing good (Eph. 3:16; Rom 12:21).
I pray you will continually open my eyes to the Scriptures, teach me, guide me and direct my steps, as I study Your word and live Your Way of life (Psalm 25:8-10).
Give me Your Holy Spirit, that I might become a new creature in Christ (Luke 11:13; 2 Cor. 5:17).
Help me to stay spiritually aware as I serve You, knowing we are living in a world of darkness (John 8:12; Eph. 6:12).
Help me to be a shining light and example for others, so that I can make a difference in this world (Matt. 5:16).
Give me wisdom to discern Your Ways over the knowledge and foolishness of man’s (1 Cor 3:19; Ps.119:66).
Help me to stay focused on a future with You, making the most of each day as Your servant, always giving You the glory (2 Tim. 4:8; Rev. 14:7).
Keep me forever in Your care and protection, and keep me from falling away from the simple devotion which is in Christ Jesus (Matt. 13:21; Luke 8:13).
I pray this in the name of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ and in your Hebrew name, Yeshua, Amen (Eph 5:20; Phil 2:10; Col. 3:17).
